Below are some great health, nutrition and wellness resources I’ve found over the years. There are books, websites, podcasts, and educational programs. This page is under construction. I’ll keep this section updated as I learn more, so check back often! One good overview of a healing diet can be found here. It’s the culmination of three of my favorite books suggestions.
Chris Kresser: One of my favorite teachers and Functional Medicine practitioners. Chris has loads of good, well researched information on his website.
Dr. Mark Hyman: One of the leaders in the field of Functional Medicine. He is also an expert on Fat, Sugar and other key health issues. Site has a lot of good information.
EWG (Environmental Working Group): A fantastic resource. They have rankings of thousands of food and health related products, ranking their ingredients — looking for pesticides and toxins. Check out their consumer guide. And they have great smart phones apps that allow you to scan the barcodes of products through your phones camera and will tell you that products of foods rank. You’ll also want to check out their top clean and dirty foods lists.
GreenMedInfo: You can search over 10,000 health related articles and research.
Dave Asprey & Bulletproof Blog: Dave is a well-known bio-hacker and podcaster, with lots of great information, data and products. They’ve tracked
Peter Attia’s Eating Academy: Excellent research and writing on a range of topics, including Cholesterol.
Fix Your Gut: John Brisson runs this site, and he does a lot of research and has interesting thoughts on a lot of health issues.
